📝 Under the global spotlight on the frontiers of science and technology, the field of artificial consciousness is once again making waves. The preparatory meeting for the 2nd World Conference on Artificial Consciousness, co-hosted by the World Artificial Consciousness Association and the World Conference on Artificial Consciousness, was successfully held recently, drawing leading figures from technology, ethics, law, education, and public policy. The meeting aimed to examine the latest advances and future development pathways in artificial consciousness and to jointly chart an ambitious blueprint for the field’s future.

📝 The second conference was held entirely online from December 21 to 22, 2024, under the theme “Proactive Medicine: AI Embracing the Integration of Traditional and Modern Medicine.” It was co-hosted by more than a dozen institutions, including the World Conference on Artificial Consciousness, the World Artificial Consciousness Association, the International Data Association (IDA), the Digital Economy Research Institute of the United Nations World Silk Road Forum, the International Alliance of Academicians and Experts, the Sino–US Silicon Valley Development Promotion Association, the China–Europe Scientists Forum, the China Association for the Promotion of Science and Technology Industrialization, the AIII International Institute of Artificial Intelligence, and the European Center for Traditional Chinese Medicine.
WAAC Annual Meeting & Preparatory Meeting for the 3rd World Artificial Consciousness Conference

📝 On July 29, 2025, the World Artificial Consciousness Association (WACA) Annual Conference and the Preparatory Meeting for the 3rd World Artificial Consciousness Congress were successfully held in a hybrid format, combining both online and offline participation. Organized by the World Artificial Consciousness Association, the event centered around the core themes of “Proactive Medicine,” “Standards for Artificial Consciousness,” and “Global Ethical Governance,” attracting experts and scholars from countries and regions around the world.
